At Emidat, we are building the first climate-native product management system for building material manufacturers. We aim to decarbonise building materials, making up 11% of global GHG emissions. We collect data from physical production processes, generate a digital product passport with verified environmental data and make it usable along the value chain. In short: One solution to assess, design, buy, sell and manage products - with environmental impact at the core.
With this, we are building the digital infrastructure to make it faster, easier, and more sustainable to build the world around us.
What you will work on
Your mission
Support founders in executing on most urgent and important projects
As our Founder’s Associate (Intern or working student), you are the driving force executing on our strategic projects. This is a unique opportunity to learn entrepreneurship from the ground up, working directly with the founders. You will learn more in a month than most people in a year and we see it as our responsibility to give you all the tools and intros you need to grow in the fastest manner possible. It will be demanding, but it will be equally exciting.
We are looking for a highly structured, smart, detail-oriented person with low ego and insane sense of ownership. Please don’t take yourself too seriously as well.

Your challenge:
Support Lisa & Florian to drive Emidat’s strategic priorities and execute on projects we have defined together. Some exemplary projects you will own:
* Operations : being the right hand of the founder, supporting in all day-to-day tasks. We are a small team building the company from scratch. We all get our hands dirty
* Commercial : building the customer pipeline, maintaining customer communications, further developing the GTM strategy
* Hiring : setting up and managing channels, building up and managing the candidate flow, interviewing, onboarding new employees, improving the hiring process
* Many more strategic projects in the fields of operations, organization, legal, finance, and strategy with changing demand every week
What you should bring to this role
* Language: Business Fluent in English.
* (FOR INTERNS) Commitment: Availability to commit to the role for a minimum of 4 months, with a strong preference for individuals seeking a long-term position to drive and see through strategic projects.
* Project Execution and Ownership: A proven track record of owning and executing projects from inception (A) to completion (Z). This includes demonstrated excellence in high-ownership, self-managed roles.
* Analytical & Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience adopting new tools and AI-driven workflows. Beyond being a power user of standard productivity suites, you should possess the analytical rigor to turn raw data into strategic insights and the "builder" mindset to automate your own workflows.
* Structured Problem-Solving: Experience in structuring and breaking down ambiguous, complex business challenges into manageable tasks, leading to pragmatic, high-impact solutions.
Nice to Have's
* Academic Background: Currently pursuing or possessing a Master’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related quantitative field.
* High-Growth Experience: Prior experience (internship or full-time) in a fast-paced, high-growth technology startup or equivalent high-performance environment (e.g., Consulting, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Venture Capital).
* Cross-Functional Acumen: Demonstrated hands-on experience in cross-functional projects across key business functions such as Product, Marketing, Sales (RevOps), Strategy, or Business Development.
* Leadership and Initiative: A verifiable history of proactive initiative-taking and leadership, evidenced by activities such as leading university clubs, significant side projects, or entrepreneurial endeavors.
* Cultural Fit: Exhibiting the core values of high integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a humble, 'low-ego' approach to team collaboration and problem-solving.
* Bilingual Proficiency: Native or professional working proficiency (C1/C2 level) in both German and English.
