We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to support the successful delivery of large-scale offshore wind projects across Europe. This role will play a key part in developing and implementing risk management strategies to ensure the effective identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks throughout all project phases — from development to construction and operation.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead and coordinate risk management activities across multiple offshore wind projects, ensuring a consistent and proactive approach.
 * Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the risk management framework, tools, and reporting processes.
 * Facilitate risk identification and assessment workshops with project teams, contractors, and key stakeholders.
 * Monitor and analyse project risks and opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to project and executive leadership.
 * Ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are implemented and tracked across all functions (technical, commercial, financial, and regulatory).
 * Maintain risk registers and ensure regular updates and reporting for project governance and steering committees.
 * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and external partners to ensure alignment on risk-related decisions.
 * Support quantitative risk analysis (QRA), scenario modelling, and contingency planning as required.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement by embedding risk awareness and best practices across the organisation.
Requirements
 * Proven experience in a risk management role within the renewable energy, offshore wind, or major infrastructure sectors.
 * Strong understanding of project risk management processes, tools, and techniques (e.g. qualitative and quantitative analysis, Monte Carlo simulations).
 * Solid knowledge of project lifecycles and interdependencies across development, construction, and operational phases.
 * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience engaging senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
 * Proficiency with risk management tools and software (e.g. Active Risk Manager, Predict!, or equivalent).
 * Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
