Dimensional CAE simulation – Utilizing dedicated dimensional variation analysis software to analyze and communicate dimensional requirements within engineering teams and with a global manufacturing and supplier base
Full vehicle exposure – The Dimensional Analysis team gets involved in the mechanical design of most vehicle systems, from seats to battery packs and autopilot hardware
Design Cycle Experience – the team works on parallel design programs, so there is the opportunity to get involved in every stage of the design cycle from early design concept to production ramp-up
Cross functional Interaction – Through the Dimensional Engineering process, there are very broad interactions with other teams including Styling, Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and many more
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) expertise – GD&T is a key skill that any mechanical designer should be fluent in. It will be one of the most useful assets throughout your career
