Purpose of the role Location: Germany (focus on Hamburg or Wiesbaden), remote-hybrid possible with occasional travel The Senior Strategy & Transformation Manager is an individual contributor role embedded within a newly established PMO driving and supporting comforte’s growth and transformation ambition. You will be working closely with C-Suite leadership and functional leads. In this role, you will own and support the delivery and design of high-impact strategic and operational programs across our functional units (GTM, Product, Corporate Services). The role ensures that strategic priorities are identified, translated into actionable plans and effectively implemented across the organization. Key responsibilities and tasks Drive, develop and support strategic initiatives in close alignment with the executive board and senior leadership from scoping and planning through to execution and benefit realization while identifying and managing interdependencies across concurrent workstreams Lead cross-functional transformation projects including process redesign, operating model changes and organizational effectiveness leveraging technology and AI capabilities Establish and maintain a portfolio-level view of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with company priorities and resource availability while contributing to the maturity of our new PMO through introduction of methodologies, templates, tooling and reporting cadences Drive change management activities to ensure sustainable adoption of new ways of working and implement supporting governance structures for executive status reporting Act as a trusted partner to the C-Suite, functional leads and external partners on strategic and growth topics Professional skills and knowledge Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic, project-driven, or consulting-related role or a related PMO / COO function (e.g., Strategy, PMO, Change, Transformation or Management Consulting) Proven experience in managing or supporting cross-functional transformation and growth initiatives and programs – experience with M&A processes and exposure to B2B software environment is a plus Strong understanding of governance processes and working with senior stakeholders and decision-making processes Demonstrable experience with financial modelling, business case development, and investment decision process Solid analytical and conceptual thinking; comfortable working with Excel models and translating numbers into narratives Personal skills Ability to bring structure to complex and ambiguous situations while delivering actionable recommendations Strong communication and facilitation skills – ability to prepare and present concise executive materials (PowerPoint, written briefs, etc.) Collaborative and pragmatic mindset with a team-oriented and professional demeanor allowing you to influence without authority and to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
