The Director is part of the country/chapter leadership team and plays a critical role in translating strategy into operational impact. While the role is anchored in the German market, its influence extends across the broader European organization, contributing to cross-country initiatives, strategic alignment, and capability sharing.ResponsibilitiesPharma and Biotech Client leadership:Overall accountability for managing the client relationship and meeting client expectationsResponsible for key accounts and ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnershipsStrategic project leadership:Serve as product owner (project lead) and/or strategic advisor on key accounts and complex market access projects requiring tailored strategy and solutions to ensure delivery of excellence — quality, scope, marginOversight of delivery standards, ensuring consistency and high quality across all clientsApply agile working methods, planning, prioritisation; shape agile strategy across teams and cross-functional alignmentDesign, develop and apply innovative methodologies to foster tech-enabled delivery to clients using state-of-the-art AI toolsAs needed, lead, or be involved in above country EU and global projects for clients, managing a cross-functional and cross-geographic teamBusiness & Account development for Germany and whole Kintiga:Proposal & Opportunity Management: Lead business development efforts, incl. pitches and proposals, to increase business and upselling across delivery teamWork closely with Business Development team to identify opportunities and support new business winsClient Relationship Management: build strong relationships and personal brand with clients in the marketCorporate Development:Define portfolio vision, drive innovation pipeline and transformation, lead product strategyEnsure alignment between Germany and broader UK/European consulting strategy, working with peers across GeographiesPeople Leadership:Foster strong feedback culture to support development and sustainable growth of the team: manage and mentor delivery teams, provide coaching, feedback and overall performance managementServe as talent coach: identify individual training needs and career development opportunitiesOversight of utilisation, career-oriented staffing on projects for the dedicated team and the individual team members; maintain / increase retention rateTalent & Capacity Planning:Recruitment: Shape recruitment strategy; contribute to pipeline developmentResource Allocation: Co-define FTE needs, align workforce planning with business and growth goals; ensure long term capability buildingJoint decision on promotions and new hiresCultural Ambassador:Oversee cultural development: Embed partnership mindset into organizational culture and strategy, build relationships to external collaborators; lead Community of Practice across KintigaChampion the Kintiga values, act as a role modelEducation & QualificationsMaster’s degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, health economics, or businessExcellent German and English language skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM and project management softwareExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in market access within the German and European pharmaceutical or healthcare industryA strong understanding of the German (AMNOG) as well as the key European market access landscapes, incl. the pharmaceutical and biotech sectorsA deep understanding of the German healthcare systemDemonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships, driving business growthSkills & TalentsExcellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrategic mindset and analytic & problem-solving thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategiesThought leadership and opinion leader in market access and beyondAbility to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, compelling proposal contentAffinity and curiosity for technical advancementsStrong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels, internally and externallySelf-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a teamOtherHybrid with Office in Hannover, Lower Saxony: Regular in-person presence at the office (2–3 days per week).
