The Head of Global Inbound and Intra Factory Supply Chain Management plays a crucial leadership role at Flender, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire inbound and intra factory supply chain. We are seeking dedicated candidates for locations in Voerde, Tianjin, Brno, Chennai, or Subotica.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy for inbound and intra factory logistics, with a focus on the Wind Energy sector.
* Drive initiatives for cost reduction, operational efficiency, and sustainability across the supply chain through transportation mode, routing, logistics network design, capacity planning, and technology integration.
* Ensure the supply chain remains agile and resilient, capable of responding to market fluctuations and disruptions.
* Collaborate with executive leadership to align supply chain goals with overall business objectives.
* Manage global logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reliability in delivering raw materials and components.
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience:
* Extensive experience in supply chain management; senior leadership experience preferred.
* Proven success in the machine-building industry or a similarly complex manufacturing environment.
* Deep knowledge of inbound supply chain operations, including sourcing, production planning, and logistics.
* Experience managing global supplier networks and implementing trade-lane optimizations, warehouse concepts, milk runs, etc.
* Strong leadership, strategic thinking, pragmatic implementation skills, change management, project management, and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
