The focus of the »MEMS Applications« business unit is on the design, development and manufacture of application-relevant MEMS components and MEMS systems. In the »Agglomerated Microsystems« group, MEMS parts and components are produced using the patented PowderMEMS technology. A core competence is the integration of porous microstructures on wafers for various microtechnological applications. What you will do
After comprehensive training, you will independently develop Python-based software for an in-house developed measurement system for the magnetic characterization of micromagnets. The goal is to automate the measurement process at the wafer level. You will implement measurement sequences, integrate hardware interfaces, collect and process measurement data, and document your work. In addition, you will perform measurements with the developed software, prepare the data obtained, and report to the PowderMEMS group.
What you bring to the table
* Currently studying computer science, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a related natural science or engineering degree program
* Ideally, experience in Python programming
* Advantageous: basic knowledge of magnetism and magnetic materials
* The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new problems and enjoy taking on responsibility in a team
* A high degree of independence, initiative, and commitment

The monthly working time is 80 hours. The position is initially limited to one year. However, we are interested in long-term cooperation.
