We are looking for an experienced digital hardware design engineer.
Tasks
* You lead a team of experienced digital hardware engineers and coordinate all hardware-related activities of internal (sensor/system development) and external (customer) projects
* You still design or contribute to the design of high-performance digital hardware using Altium Designer (both circuit design and layout)
* Typical projects are boards with digital electronics and power supply for automotive radar sensors, usually featuring the latest multi-core processors; Mixed digital/RF electronics are developed in cooperation with the RF/antenna team
* Project activities comprise hardware specification, schematic design, layout, reviews, test, documentation, interfacing to CAD design team
* You will support external and internal production, including both prototypes and series production
Requirements
* Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar qualification
* Experience in team leadership, taking over responsibility in project management and product ownership
* You are a senior or principal engineer and have solid practical experience in digital hardware design
* You have several years of experience in the development of fast digital circuits and high-frequency circuits, and with design tools for electronic circuits (e.g. Altium Designer)
* Knowledge of test engineering, validation and simulation, plus you are familiar with PCB technologies
