The Jena office offers a tight-knit team environment, fostering both personal and professional development within its sister companies. Tasks You’ll play a key role in developing advanced equipment software based on a SECS/GEM-compatible framework using C# You’ll work closely with customers, taking ownership of interface optimisation and adjustments independently From time to time, you’ll support software commissioning processes, which may involve international travel (approx. 10%) You’ll maintain continuous contact with customers and service technicians, providing technical support and resolving issues efficiently You’ll actively contribute to the design and implementation of innovative software concepts You’ll manage version control and documentation to ensure a structured and reliable development workflow Profile A degree in a STEM discipline or a completed technical apprenticeship with relevant professional experience Strong command of C# in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly with tools like Visual Studio A solid grasp of hardware and measurement techniques—ideally with hands-on experience in semiconductor-related device development A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and programming languages Confidence working directly with hardware and understanding of measurement methods A good command of English, essential for collaborating in our international team
