Job Description:
As an Operations Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team that ensures smooth site operations and meets customer demand. You will work on various projects to drive productivity, quality, and safety across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and implement a culture of safety and wellbeing
* Analyze and improve processes to enhance quality and productivity
* Oversee project implementation and streamlining of processes
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational excellence
* Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices
A Day in the Life:
You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.
About the Team:
The Customer Fulfillment (CF) team is the foundation of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that uses emerging technology to offer a bigger, better product range delivered quickly and affordably.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant experience in people management
* Relevant experience of communicating with stakeholders
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
* Relevant experience working with data and evidence-based decision making
* Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
* Experience working in another logistics environment
* Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
