Director of Business Development, EMEA:
Salary range: €110-130K + 50% comms + stocks

Role Summary:
The Director of Business Development will lead my client's enterprise partnerships across key European markets, driving revenue growth through strategic sales of their entire product suite. The ideal candidate has a consultative approach, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience selling data-as-a-service, measurement, or other complex technical solutions within the AdTech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prospect and Pipeline Growth: Develop and expand the pipeline of platform partners (DSPs, SSPs, data providers, measurement providers) integrating my client's linear and streaming TV data.
* AdTech Expertise: Sell data solutions supporting targeting, planning, and measurement applications to major advertising technology platforms.
* Consultative Selling: Help AdTech clients optimize the use of TV data in omnichannel marketing.
* Collaboration: Work with internal teams (Business Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance) to architect, negotiate, and close large-scale agreements.
* Sales Process Management: Manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities using Salesforce.
* Sales Strategy & Presentations: Develop effective sales strategies, product demonstrations, and pitches.
* Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with mid-level and senior leadership in target accounts.
* Internal Collaboration: Ensure project success by working effectively with internal teams.
* Revenue Goals: Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular internal reporting and revenue forecasts.
* Client Needs: Understand and address prospect needs and expectations.
* Product Improvement: Suggest product and sales process improvements.
* Product Feedback: Gather and relay actionable client feedback to product management.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: 10+ years in revenue-focused Business Development or Sales within advertising, data, measurement/analytics, or AdTech/MarTech SaaS, working with major media companies, agencies, brands, or platforms.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the programmatic and digital landscape and data usage.
* Sales Skills: Comfortable selling in a team format to senior-level executives at AdTech and ad measurement platforms.
* Agency Experience: Proven track record of selling to the Big 6 global media agency groups.
* Relationship Management: Experience developing and leading strategic customer relationships.
* Client Understanding: Ability to work with various client disciplines (Brand Management, Media, Research, Analytics, Data/Marketing Sciences, Product Management, Sales, Technology, Finance, Corporate Strategy).
* Technical Understanding: Comprehend and communicate the "big picture" of advanced segmentation, scoring, analytics, attribution, and data solutions.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Negotiation Skills: Fluent in negotiating complex, multi-year contracts.
* Drive & Initiative: Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, high energy, and a focus on winning.
* Sales Success: Proven ability to identify, open, navigate, and close 6-7 figure solution sales.
* Target Achievement: Demonstrated history of exceeding targets and revenue goals.
* Data Knowledge: Working knowledge of syndicated data offerings and ability to translate data into solutions.
* Language Skills: Native German or French, plus fluency in English. Spanish or Italian is a bonus.
