Role: Freelance Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Contract Length: 2 years
Project Type: Utility-Scale Solar PV / High Voltage Substation
Languages: Fluent English (German is a strong advantage)
Start Date: Q4 2025
Key Responsibilities Provide engineering oversight and technical leadership for E&I systems within the solar farm and high-voltage substation
Develop, review, and validate electrical & instrumentation drawings, including loop diagrams, cable routing, termination, and control system layouts
Support installation, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities on-site
Ensure compliance with IEC standards, German electrical codes, and grid connection requirements
Coordinate with EPC contractors, component suppliers, and other engineering disciplines
Provide technical documentation, inspection reports, and progress updates
Troubleshoot and resolve E&I issues during construction and commissioning phases
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project-specific QA/QC plans
