Our values: - Trust and team spirit - Performance and innovation - Responsibility and commitment - Fairness and ethics in business ⚖️ To strengthen our customer team in Laupheim we are looking for an EWISS Design Engineer (m/w/d) Your missions will be: Define electrical schematics (Wiring Diagrams) to ensure system functionality Develop and design electrical systems on an aircraft (EWIS) Design and create electrical harnesses based on customer and industry requirements and standards Perform 2D and 3D modeling of electrical wiring routing within the aircraft Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into aircraft design Ensure designs meet certification requirements Update and incorporate changes into technical drawings Standardize 3D models and drawings according to customer and industry standards Analyze submitted change requests Research technical specifications when not provided by the customer Identify root causes and resolve problems Provide technical support to production and engineering teams Share technical knowledge with team members Manage multiple projects simultaneously Understand the requirements of AS 9100 standards as they relate to the role Comply with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and apply related tools when performing tasks Requirements About you: At least 8 years of relevant professional experience Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector is an asset Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) Proficiency with design and modeling software (CATIA V5) Proficiency with Material Resource Planning (MRP) software Knowledge of Mentor Graphics or Corel Draw is an asset Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Smarteam, Enovia, and MBOM) is an asset Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills Sense of responsibility for assigned tasks Strong analytical skills Ability to manage responsibilities and adapt to workflow changes Demonstrated adaptability in a dynamic environment Ability to show initiative Benefits Collaboration with team player colleagues in a pleasant family atmosphere with modern technology and equipment, short decision paths and flat hierarchies Development opportunities in an expanding company with flexible working hours and home office options Attractive remuneration in line with the market, an occupational pension scheme, 30 days of holiday Grant to "Deutschlandticket" (public transportation)
