To strengthen our customer team in Laupheim we are looking for an EWISS Design Engineer (m/w/d)
Your missions will be:
1. Define electrical schematics (Wiring Diagrams) to ensure system functionality
2. Develop and design electrical systems on an aircraft (EWIS)
3. Design and create electrical harnesses based on customer and industry requirements and standards
4. Perform 2D and 3D modeling of electrical wiring routing within the aircraft
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into aircraft design
6. Ensure designs meet certification requirements
7. Update and incorporate changes into technical drawings
8. Standardize 3D models and drawings according to customer and industry standards
9. Analyze submitted change requests
10. Research technical specifications when not provided by the customer
11. Identify root causes and resolve problems
12. Provide technical support to production and engineering teams
13. Share technical knowledge with team members
14. Manage multiple projects simultaneously
15. Understand the requirements of AS 9100 standards as they relate to the role
16. Comply with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and apply related tools when performing tasks
Requirements
About you:
17. At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
18. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
19. Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector is an asset
20. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
21. Proficiency with design and modeling software (CATIA V5)
22. Proficiency with Material Resource Planning (MRP) software
23. Knowledge of Mentor Graphics or Corel Draw is an asset
24. Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Smarteam, Enovia, and MBOM) is an asset
