Are you ready to shape the strategic and operational direction of human resources in a dynamic, multi-site environment? Based at our Vreden location — and supporting across Wischhafen, Lotte, Sinsheim, and Heinsberg — we're seeking a Head of HR to drive harmonization and enhance service delivery. You will champion a customer-oriented HR culture for approximately 500 employees. This is your opportunity to develop HR professionals, collaborate with fellow HR leaders, and make a meaningful impact on the overall employee experience — in a workplace that values wellbeing, flexibility, and purpose.
Your responsibilities:
1. Designing and shaping both operational and strategic HR policies, acting as a trusted partner to management and executives, and contributing to the development and implementation of the entity's future strategy.
2. Leading, motivating, and developing an HR team of eight, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and support.
3. Ensuring effective governance and compliance, including payroll and labour law adherence, with a strong focus on transparency and fairness.
4. Working in close and constructive collaboration with the works council.
5. Providing comprehensive support to employees, including development initiatives, workforce planning, and succession planning, while enhancing the overall employee experience.
6. Collaborating on group-wide HR projects and strengthening cooperation with local and regional teams.
Your experience:
7. You bring significant experience in a senior HR leadership role, supported by a degree (or equivalent) in business administration, human resources, labour law, or a related field.
8. You have extensive experience working with German works councils and a strong knowledge of labour and social law, as well as collective bargaining agreements.
9. Your motivational leadership style, hands-on approach, and strong collaboration skills enable you to build inclusive, high-performing teams.
10. You are fluent in both German and English.
