Job Description
Alibaba Cloud is hiring students who are enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow to join the data center operation and maintenance team. As a data center O & M personnel, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing the infrastructure, servers, assets, and security of the data center to ensure the stable operation of the data center. Through close cooperation with experienced technical experts and managers, you will continuously improve your technical and management capabilities.
As a data center O & M personnel, you will have the following responsibilities:
● Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure, servers, assets and security of the data center, including the maintenance, upgrade and management of the equipment;
● Monitor the daily operation and maintenance of the data center. Ensure the reliable operation of the data center;
● Follow up the technical upgrades and maintenance of hardware and network equipment in the data center;
● Resolve data center O & M issues and assist relevant teams in providing technical support;
● Handle data center emergencies and provide the root cause analysis and postmortem report of the incidents;
● Regularly evaluate the performance and security of the data center and propose optimization suggestions.
Requirements:

● Bachelor degree or above in electrical, automation, mechanical engineering major, with relevant professional certificates;
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
● Familiar with the principles and configurations of computer networks and data center infrastructure;
● Good problem solving and in-depth analysis skills;
● Have good learning and self-improvement mindset, with great professional ethics.
● Proficiency in German is a must, with either fluent Chinese or fluent English required, as the role need to cooperate with the HQ in Mainland China.
