Lead strategic account planning, manage complex multi-region/multi-metro sales cycles, and coordinate extended sales teams through negotiations and solution delivery.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Conduct quarterly business reviews and lead executive briefings to identify new opportunitiesStrategic Account PlanningDevelop and execute global, multi-line-of-business account plans. Research customer business landscapes to uncover priorities and align solutionsSolution SellingIdentify customer needs and deliver tailored Equinix solutions. Present and adapt pitches for C-level executives, leveraging internal and external partnersPipeline & Territory ManagementMonitor opportunities in Salesforce, forecast accurately, and prioritize accounts for short- and long-term growthNegotiation & Contract RenewalsLead commercial negotiations and renewals to protect revenue. Utilize internal resources to optimize deal structures and termsTeam Leadership & MentorshipMentor junior sales professionals, lead special projects, and share best practices across the teamProfessional Experience & Industry Knowledge5–7 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in IT, telecom, or data center environmentsProven success in managing global accounts headquartered in GermanyDeep understanding of industry challenges and digital transformation trendsChannel Network & Customer ContactsStrong network with decision-makers in large enterprisesExperience collaborating with channel partners and leveraging industry associationsExisting relationships in Content & Digital Media and Cloud & IT Services verticals preferredSoft Skills & Social SellingExceptional communication and negotiation skillsAbility to simplify complex technical solutions for diverse audiencesProficiency in social selling and digital engagement strategiesStrong team collaboration aligned with Equinix core valuesResults Orientation & KPI ManagementConsistent achievement of revenue growth and customer acquisition targetsExpertise in CRM tools (Salesforce), forecasting (Clari), and MEDDIC methodologyData-driven approach to optimize sales strategiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferredProven track record in enterprise sales and global account managementNative German and Fluent EnglishEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
