Description
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual for the role as Manufacturing Engineering Manager (f/m/d) within the Assembly & Test area at our Dahlewitz site (near Berlin).
In this role, you will act as the technical authority of the assembly line for business aviation engines. You will support both the delivery of the production program and the introduction of new engine products. You will also deliver continuous improvement in our assembly lines. A strong background in aviation industry and manufacturing is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and integrate all Manufacturing Engineering activity within our OEM business at Dahlewitz
2. Manage the deployment of Man Eng Processes, Standards, Guidance, Tools & Methods
3. Lead the deployment of best-in-class Advanced Manufacturing processes, methods, technologies and systems, meeting the requirements of product and business in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery Rate & Leadtime (SQCD)
4. Act as the Technical Authority for the assembly of Business Aviation engines
5. Load/Capacity planning and recruitment of new team members
6. Ensure professional development of the Manufacturing Engineering team
Your Profile:
7. Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
8. Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes and hands-on experience in a production environment
9. Good understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes relevant to the business
10. Good understanding of Manufacturing Systems (Teamcenter, MES, Process Planning, etc.)
11. Experience with process improvement and project management methodologies
12. Experience in Six Sigma and Lean Tools
13. Strong collaboration, people development, and team leadership skills
14. Fluent in both German and English
