The opportunity
Great opportunity for an experienced finance professional in a leading private education group.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
* Act as a strategic liaison, providing financial insights and guidance to support business leaders in making informed decisions.
* Support the development of long‑term financial plans, annual budgets and rolling forecasts aligned with business objectives.
* Analyze financial reports and track performance against set business goals, identifying areas for improvement and investigating significant variances.
* Provide data‑backed insights, explain complex financial information and deliver regular financial commentaries to highlight performance and trends.
* Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with budget holders and stakeholders across the organization to foster a culture of financial accountability.
* Advise on the financial impact of new products, services or business models and contribute to the financial success of operational initiatives.
Your profile
* Strong foundation in finance, accounting, financial reporting and analysis.
* Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate financial information clearly and influence stakeholders.
* A good understanding of operational processes.
* Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools, e.g., Power BI.
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
* Self‑motivated with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
* High resilience and ability to work independently.
