The central Legal & Compliance team at Miele currently consists of 26 dedicated employees and acts as a reliable business partner for all operational units, central functions, international locations, and management in all legal matters. To strengthen international cooperation with in-house legal colleagues at other locations and the global Miele Legal & Compliance Ambassador network, a central position is being created to further expand the necessary governance, processes, and structures on the one hand, and to better understand and integrate the requirements of the international group companies on the other. Your Responsibilities Act as interface, coordinator and enabler between the central Legal & Compliance team and the international Miele in-house counsels and Legal & Compliance ambassadors Work closely with the functional teams (Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance and Intellectual Property) in Gütersloh to develop a transformation roadmap and implement central requirements on global level Understand the needs and requirements from both ends and find integrative solutions Develop and establish an international service delivery model for Legal & Compliance Collect and manage data on law firm network and legal spend with a view to qualitative and quantitative improvements Establish efficient processes, standards and tools to facilitate the cooperation Define and implement a legal tech landscape that supports all functional teams What we are looking for University Degree (German or international) - preferably in law (Bachelor of Law) or business administration Several years of experience of working in international groups of companies or as “project manager” in international law or consultancy firms Strong problem-solving mindset and relevant project management experience Solid understanding of legal & compliance work Great communication and networking skills Fluent in English, good German skills would be advantageous
