NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Feasibility studies for the PV power plants in Jiu Valley and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The overall objective of this assignment is to carry out a Feasibility Study for a PV electricity production plant with electricity storage plants in the municipalities of Aninoasa, Lupeni and Uricani.
Location: Jiu Valley, Romania.
Duration: The intended start date is September 2025 (the “Start Date”) and the services shall be provided for a period of 12 months from this date (the “Period of Implementation”).
Key Expert: Project Engineer (Cat. II)
☝️ Qualifications and skills:
* At least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar (minimum requirement).
* Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1).
* Fluency in written and spoken Romanian would be an asset.
* Computer literacy (e.g., AutoCAD or similar, GIS tools, PV design and simulation software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams).
☝️ General professional experience:
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in electricity sector (minimum requirement).
☝️ Specific professional experience:
* At least 7 years of experience in designing PV generation plant or preparing similar feasibility studies to be proven by at least 3 projects (minimum requirement).
* At least 5 years of experience in designing electricity storage plants, including BESS, or preparing similar feasibility studies, to be proven by at least 3 projects since 2018 (minimum requirement).
* Experience in using software for PV generation and BESS design and simulation proven by at least 2 PV projects and 1 BESS project (minimum requirement).
* Knowledge of Romanian regulations, codes and international standards relevant to the design, installation and performance of PV and BESS projects proven at least two PV project and one BESS project (minimum requirement).
* Experience working in Romania will be considered as an asset.
* International experience will be considered as an asset.
