Job description
In this role, you will shape forward‑thinking software solutions that reinforce ethical conduct and sustainability in global supply chains. As part of an agile team, you’ll contribute to the development of applications that leverage modern technologies and deliver real value—both technically and socially. From backend to UI, with room for your own ideas and innovative thinking, the position offers ample freedom to influence and create.
Location: Ideally based in Reutlingen or Hamburg.
Your mission
* Full-Stack development including design, CI/CD deployment, and operational support
* Build and enhance products to stay in line with ever-evolving industry standards
* Create cloud-based architectures and modern, user-friendly frontends
* Introduce and implement new technologies, frameworks, and methods to drive innovation
* Collaborate closely with your team to deliver high-quality results through Agile practices
Your profile
* Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a comparable qualification
* Strong background in modern development practices (OOP, Agile, SCRUM)
* Solid experience in developing and maintaining web applications with microservice architecture
* Proficiency in Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and REST
* Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
* Hands-on experience with tools like Maven, Git, and JIRA or similar
* Strong sense for UI design and solid CSS skills
* Analytical mindset, quick learner, and passion for new technologies
Ideally, you have
* Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environment
* Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., IntelliJ AI Assistant, or similar) to accelerate development and maintain code quality
* Knowledge of web-based UI frameworks like Angular or Vaadin
* Experience with Data Analytics and Data Visualisation e.g. with Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power BI
