Job Description: Field Sales Engineer (FSE) North Bavaria (Germany) and Austria Job Summary: This person will be responsible for Customers in Northern Bavaria (Germany) and Austria. It is the goal to develop and grow MPS business in the region by identifying high potential customers: automotive, industrial, consumer and other available applications. Suitable candidate has a strong sales background and customer knowledge established in South East Germany. Responsibilities: • Responsible for driving all design-in activity and wins within assigned customer accounts. • Responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets. • Work closely with MPS product division marketing and engineering personnel to identify target applications/circuits to increase design wins and expand print at both new and existing customers. • Develop and grow management level and design engineering relationships at strategic customers. • Identify new customer targets to engage and expand the MPS customer base. Desired attributes: • Self-motivated to work as an individual sales contributor in a field or home office. • Technical ability to learn entire MPS product portfolio and the “go to market” strategy for each product line. • Ability to engage strong sales personnel (including manufacturer representatives and channel partners) • Strong interpersonal skills such as active listening, collaboration, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and adaptability. • Ability to interface with MPS executive staff and product divisions to explain/defend key business strategies, revenue targets and customer situations within assigned territory. • Strong presentation skills to all levels of personnel (both customer and MPS internal divisions/executives.) Requirements: • Technical degree (minimum bachelors), preferably in an Engineering discipline or a proven track record of success in selling electronic components for 4 years. • A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel 2-3 days per week Location: Germany (Nuremberg/Munich Area) Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
