The Position
We are seeking an experienced leader to head our global Market Access team, driving strategy for our innovative obesity & liver (O&L) portfolio. As a key member of the Commercial Early Brand Team, you will lead Market Access strategy development and collaborate closely with cross-functional global, regional, and affiliate stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity for creativity and impact, as many of the indications represent "white spaces" and new disease frontiers within the industry. Tasks & responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional Global team members, including regional and local colleagues, to prepare shape and drive global market access strategies as part of the indication strategies and pipeline assets
* Create and deliver differentiated and compelling payer-focused value proposition(s) for Early Brands that addresses future unmet needs that will resonate with healthcare systems, payers, and decision-makers. Responsibility of this team is from PoC and initiation of Ph3.
* Ensure team's evidence generation plans (e.g., RWE, HEOR, PMO) address future evidence gaps, collaborating closely with the Medical Affairs team.
* Drive early market development and shaping activities to prepare for successful market entry and long-term patient access in targeted indications/diseases.
* Build and develop a high-performing Market Access team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and psychological safety.
Requirements
* A visionary leader with deep expertise in market access and commercialization, extensive experience required in developing and executing global/regional/local market access strategies, integrating payer insights, and demonstrated ability to work in "white spaces".
* Strong expertise in value-based pricing, evidence generation, and payer-focused value propositions to address future healthcare system needs and support future successful commercialization of pipeline Ability to align cross-functional teams, addressing future evidence gaps, and early development of external environments to ensure successful and sustainable patient access.
* People Leadership - proven leadership in managing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving innovative approaches to market access.
* Several years of experience from one of the major markets, regions and/or global is desired - deep understanding of global healthcare systems (US, EU, Japan, China) and market dynamics, with the ability to adapt strategies to archetype-specific requirements for optimal brand execution.
