Electronic Engineer-Technical Supply Management (m/w/d)
Are you ready to take on the challenge of shaping cutting-edge space technologies? In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers working with our external suppliers to develop tailor-made electronic units for satellite applications, often pushing the boundaries of technical feasibility. Your Tasks
1. Take technical ownership of electronic unit suppliers for satellite missions
2. Define and manage requirements, including verification planning and tracking
3. Evaluate and negotiate technical changes in coordination with stakeholders
4. Review supplier documentation and lead technical reviews with subcontractors
5. Monitor and control key technical budgets ( power consumption, data rates, memory allocation, discrete interfaces)
6. Coordinate and harmonize electrical interfaces across subsystems and units
7. Provide technical support to suppliers in the design, simulation, and analysis of electronics for space applications
Your Qualifications
8. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
9. Professional experience in electronics development for the space industry
10. Solid understanding of satellite subsystems, including power distribution and thermal control
11. Familiarity with communication protocols and data-handling interfaces used in satellites (, SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceFibre)
12. Knowledge of relevant standards such as ECSS and MIL
13. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
14. Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar languages
15. Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
