Description The Hamburg-based Risk Management team, part of DNV Energy Systems, supports clients in all kinds of operational risk analysis, developing, auditing and improving safety management systems and asset integrity plans, and investigating incidents, applying cross-sectional competencies in the renewable energy space (offshore and onshore wind, H2, ammonia, CCUS), as well as in conventional industries such as O&G, petrochemical and manufacturing. To support our Consultants in the mid-term, we are looking for a Student Assistant (Werkstudent). Key tasks include: Support to technical advisory projects in the complete energy value chain: Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments Management System development projects Reliability Analysis Incident Investigations Support to project management activities of internal and client projects from bidding through invoicing. Support for sales and marketing activities. Responsibilities Attractive hourly rates 20 hours per week (40 during semester breaks) Direct contact with the industry and work on real projects, both in-house and at clients’ premises Dynamic team of 50 consultants across Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Denmark Professional training and access to the DNV network Centrally located office in Hamburg Speicherstadt or in Berlin Schöneberg Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Student in Engineering, enrolled in a German university Good knowledge of MS Office Fluent in German and English – additional languages are a plus (e.g. Dutch and/or French) Strong logical mindset, analytical capabilities Good communicator and team player Ambitious, positive and self-motivated attitude.
