Your tasks:
* Overall responsibility for material planning, scheduling, warehousing and logistics
* Ensuring the timely availability of materials for production and/or customers
* Planning, control and monitoring of goods flows (inbound, internal, outbound)
* Optimization of inventory levels taking into account costs, availability and risk
* Management, development and deployment planning of employees in the Materials & Logistics area
* Selection, management and evaluation of external logistics service providers and freight forwarders
* Development and implementation of measures for process optimization and efficiency improvement
* Definition, monitoring and analysis of relevant key performance indicators (e.g., inventory coverage, delivery reliability, lead times)
* Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, compliance requirements and legal requirements (e.g. customs, export control and dangerous goods regulations)
* Participation in budget planning, cost control and investment decisions within the area of responsibility
* Support and management of projects in the areas of supply chain, logistics and digitalization
* Close collaboration with related departments such as purchasing, production, quality, finance and IT
* Preparation of reports, analyses and decision-making documents for management
