Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Infrastructure Specialist to join our operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure and delivering exceptional service to our data center customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform regular preventative and corrective maintenance checks on-site to ensure facility components are functioning optimally.
2. Conduct moderately difficult repairs, maintenance, installations and on-site inspections to facility systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
3. Support energy efficiency initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-effective solutions.
4. Vendor Support: Collaborate with vendors to ensure efficient work approval processes for moderately difficult maintenance tasks.
5. In cooperation with vendors, support modifications to technical files for plants and equipment, ensuring files and builds are up-to-date.
6. Site Administration & Incident Support: Perform site logs for permits and follow established operating procedures to support on-site administration.
7. Work Orders & Additional Projects: Support auxiliary equipment and machines with problem-solving and repairs to minimize downtime.
8. Carry out infrastructure projects to enhance facility capabilities.
9. May mentor junior team members on general maintenance activities and recommend infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
* Achieved apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronics/Energy Electronics/Knowledge Technology (male/female/diverse) or comparable qualification.
* Favorable completion of a successful further education as a technician/master (male/female/diverse).
* Self-reliant performance of maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on technical equipment and facilities within the building infrastructure (electrical, refrigeration, and climate control areas).
* Maintain accurate documentation for plant-related matters.
* Excellent German and good English language skills.
