Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Human Resources (m/f/d) to serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to our executive leadership team, especially the CEO. This senior HR leader (m/f/d) will bring extensive experience in organizational transformation, talent development, restructuring, and labor relations within a global and culturally diverse environment. Leading an experienced team of HR Business Partners globally.
A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with the Business Area Pharma as well as the Körber Group HR organization, playing a significant role within the global Pharma HR team to align HR strategies across regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent scouting, recruitment, talent evaluation, and talent identification/search at a senior level, with a strong network in the software industry and experience supporting global delivery hubs.
Office presence in Lüneburg is required 4 to 5 days per week, with flexibility for international travel (up to 50%) to support global teams, delivery centers, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and innovative culture
* Transformation & Change Management: Lead organizational transformation initiatives, including restructuring, workforce planning, and cultural change programs
* Global & Matrix Collaboration: Work closely with BA Pharma HR and contribute significantly to the global BA Pharma HR organization, ensuring HR initiatives are aligned and effectively implemented across regions. Ensure a strong HR setup within Pharma software globally with the team of HR Business Partners disciplinary and/or functionally reporting into the Director HR
* Talent Acquisition & Search: Drive talent scouting, recruitment, talent evaluation, and talent identification/search at senior levels, leveraging extensive networks and innovative sourcing strategies
* People & Talent Development: Oversee leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives
* Labor Law & Compliance: Ensure adherence to German and international labor laws; manage relationships with Workers’ Councils
* Labor Relations & Negotiations: Lead negotiations with employee representatives, maintaining constructive relationships and ensuring organizational stability
* Restructuring & Workforce Optimization: Manage restructuring projects, and workforce realignment while maintaining legal compliance and employee trust
* Operational in Software & Delivery Hubs: Bring relevant experience from the software business, especially in managing global delivery hubs and remote teams
* Trusted Advisor & Wingman: Act as a close strategic advisor and confidant to the CEO and executive team, providing HR insights for critical decisions
* Cultural & Diversity Promotion: Foster a culturally sensitive, inclusive workplace environment supporting Körber’s international growth
* Professional management and further development of HR specialists and HR Business Partners in the area of responsibility; disciplinary management of the HR Business Partners in Lüneburg
* Management of various HR projects
Qualifications & Experience
* Senior HR Executive with minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR, ideally in software, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors
* Extensive experience in organizational transformation, restructuring, and change management
* Proven success negotiating with Works Councils in Germany, with a strong understanding of German labor law
* Demonstrated success working within matrix and functional organizational setups
* Strong talent scouting, recruitment, and talent evaluation/search expertise, with a broad network, especially in the software industry and global delivery hubs
* Experience supporting global HR functions and working closely with regional and local HR teams
* Comfortable with up to 50% international travel
* Office presence in Lüneburg required 4-5 days per week
* International experience with cultural sensitivity and global HR best practices
* Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
