One day you may be helping an Account Risk Engineer understand the interdependencies within an account, the next day you may be helping a Field Risk Engineering supervisor assign surveys or discussing your zone with the Head of Risk Consulting. Job Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team of risk engineers within the DACH region who are responsible for: Completing account reviews and conducting surveys Implement the Client Service Process Managing risk improvements Assist underwriting with technical assessment Perform property loss prevention reviews of commercial property accounts Manage training and personnel development within your team and establish and maintain a training and development plan Work closely with underwriting to obtain and maintain clients and broker relationships Ensure your team has the appropriate knowledge and skillsets to be effective in delivering services to underwriting and our clients Implement the quality control of field surveys and account reviews completed by your team Assist with Lead regional or global projects and audits Provide engineering data system support/guidance and stay abreast of system related issues within zone Coordinate engineering data system UAT (user acceptance testing) within region Provide assistance to Regional Engineering Leader and Head of Risk Consulting What Youu2019ll Need Bacheloru2019s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, professional Engineer or Certified Fire Protection Specialist Designation is desired but not required Many years of highly protected risk, specialized industry and/or boiler and machinery field experience Knowledge of a wide range of occupancies Strong communication skills (both oral and written) in German and English Significant Team leadership skills (previous experience in similar roles is considered a plus).
