Grid Connections Manager – Clean Energy / Grid Infrastructure / High Voltage / Energy Systems / Hydrogen / Power Electronics / Climate Tech / Project Delivery / Electrical Engineering / Electrolyzers
Interested in taking ownership of the grid integration for one of Europe’s most ambitious clean energy rollouts?
As an experienced Grid Connections Manager, you’ll have a lead role in managing all high-voltage grid connections for some of the largest-scale Hydrogen production plant projects in Europe.
You'll use your expertise to negotiate technical and commercial grid connection contracts, liaising across TSOs, DSOs, regulators, and internal engineering teams.
What’s on offer?
The chance to work with one of Germany's most established Clean Energy teams, who following their most successful year to date in 2024, now have plans underway for the construction of multiple Hydrogen Electrolyzer plants over the next 12 months.
It’s a highly visible role with a lot of autonomy - ideal for someone who’s navigated complex grid connection challenges before (negotiating agreements with TSOs/DSOs etc), and wants a broader scope of responsibility than what’s typically available in TSO/DSO or OEM environments.
Flexibility - the team offer as remote working flexibility as feasible, and you'll be able to work from anywhere in Germany when you're not meeting external stakeholders in-person.
Ideally, you’ll have a combination of:
A background in electrical or industrial engineering, ideally with High Voltage / High Power experience (30–380 kV)
Experience leading technical delivery of power infrastructure or grid connection projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills with contractors, consultants, and grid operators. A background working with DSO's, TSO's,
Language skills: Fluent German and English is required (native German isn't a necessity, but must be good enough to discuss regulatory frameworks)
