About the role

As our Marketplace Manager for the DACH region, you’ll own the trading and sales success of Dyson’s key online Marketplaces. Your mission: drive revenue growth, optimise partner relationships, and deliver a seamless shopping experience for customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

You’ll be the sales leader managing all Marketplace activities – planning and executing campaigns, driving improvements through data, and working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. You’ll steer strategy in line with wider Ecommerce goals, take ownership of pricing and forecasting, and report with clarity and insight.

Key responsibilities:

1. Strategy Ownership: Develop and execute the Marketplace trading strategy, aligning it with wider DACH eCommerce and sales goals.
2. External Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with Marketplace partners, ensuring Dyson’s objectives and values are delivered end-to-end.
3. Sales Growth: Drive revenue and hit sales targets through optimized pricing, promotions, and merchandising.
4. Trading Calendar: Lead Marketplace promotions and campaigns, working with local and central teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
5. Pricing Management: Enforce and evolve Dyson’s direct pricing policies for DACH Marketplaces to ensure that we remain compliant with all relevant policies.
6. Interdepartmental collaboration: Coordinate with eCommerce, marketing, customer service, supply, and analytics teams – ensuring alignment, clear communication, and flawless execution.
7. Performance Analytics: Use analytics tools (Adobe, Google Analytics) to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and spot opportunities or risks. Own regular reporting and post-campaign analysis.
8. Stock & Supply Coordination: Partner with supply teams to plan stock, support promotions, and ensure customers always find what they seek.
9. Continuously analyze market trends and adjust trading strategies accordingly.


About you

10. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters / MBA is a plus).
11. At least four years in commercial and/or sales roles with a minimum of 2 years experience within eCommerce (Focus on Marketplace is a plus)
12. Strong eCommerce sales management background with demonstrated success in driving online sales growth. Proven delivery of sales targets.
13. Skilled in building forecasts using data, web analytics, and past sales trends
14. Expert in managing complex stakeholder relationships – both internal teams and external partners across the DACH region.
15. Confident communicator, able to drive consensus and resolve competing priorities.
16. Analytical mindset with proficiency in utilizing data to drive decision-making. Experience in using eCommerce analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, as well as commercial planning tools such as Anaplan & SAP/Hybris.
17. Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technologies, trends, and best practices.
18. This role is based in Cologne. Proficient English skills required (German is a plus).
