Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor Law Counsel (m/f/diverse) to join our legal team in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. As a key member of our organization, you will provide expert legal advice and representation on all matters related to labor law.
* Advise management and HR teams on complex labor law issues, ensuring compliance with labor law regulations
* Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, workplace policies, and collective bargaining agreements
* Represent the company in labor disputes, litigation, and arbitration proceedings
* Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal opinions on labor law matters
* Monitor and analyze changes in labor legislation and case law, providing updates and recommendations to stakeholders
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR strategies and policies
* Provide training sessions on labor law topics to management and employees
* Manage external legal counsel when necessary and oversee their work
Qualifications
* Law degree from an accredited institution
* Admission to the German Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer)
* Many experience in labor law practice and strong knowledge of German and EU labor laws
* Proficiency in legal software and databases
* Proven track record of successfully handling labor disputes and litigation
* Experience in advising on employment contracts, workplace policies, and collective bargaining agreements
* Expertise in German employment law
* Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
* Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent legal research and writing skills
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
