As a vital part of this dynamic group, you will manage a portfolio of about 15 issuers primarily from the capital goods, aerospace & defense, and automotive sectors, focusing on companies based in Germany.

The Impact:

In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the credit ratings landscape by conducting thorough and insightful corporate credit analyses. Your work will directly influence rating decisions and contribute to market transparency, enabling investors and other stakeholders to make well-informed decisions.

* Engage actively with investors and market participants to foster understanding and support informed decision-making.
* All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
* We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
What We're Looking For:
* A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
* A S&P employee at this level typically has a minimum of 5 years of corporate credit analysis experience, preferably with speculative-grade corporates.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging with senior management.
* Exceptional analytical skills with a profound understanding of financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and accounting concepts.
* Understanding of and experience with legal transaction and debt documentations.
* Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while meeting strict deadlines.
* Effective teamwork and a strategic approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
* Knowledge of the Automotive, Capital Goods, and/or A&D sectors is desirable.
