Job TitleTreasury Leader EU (m/f/d)SummaryIn this role you will be part of the Treasury organization with a primary ownership of the EMEAI region. You will be responsible for managing daily liquidity/cash positioning and management of bank accounts and cash pooling to achieve expected results. You will need a very good understanding of all business processes and close contact with different stakeholders to be able to evaluate banking operations. In this position you will be a strategic partner to various cross functional processes and businesses.Responsibilities IncludeCash and Liquidity management for the EMEAI regionManage Cash Forecasting for the EMEAI regionSupporting of Global Cash needs, coordinating cash movements around the globePropose cash investment options to Global Treasurer for excess cashLead the preparation of Global Treasury Reporting Packages to be sent to ManagementPrepare Global Liquidity Report for use with Currenta to manage strategic vendor relationshipManage KYC updates for banking partners in the EMEAI regionMaintain relationships with key cash management banking partners in the EMEAI regionProvide accounting personnel with appropriate details and documentation to ensure proper posting of cash transactions to the general ledger.Perform FX analysis to propose and execute currency trades as necessaryAdministrator for DBDI banking platform for Europe cash management activities. Ensure proper access for users at all timesManage internal and external audit requests as necessaryManage accurate and timely processing of payments from SAP and banking platforms as necessaryManage bank account maintenance (including opening/closing) as necessary within the EMEAI region. Ensure compliance with all internal controlsEnsure EMEAI Treasury activities are accurate and recorded in Integrity to ensure accurate financial reportingSupport Americas and APAC leaders while they are on leaveIdentify, recommend, and execute the implementation of an efficient banking structureIdentify and recommend opportunities for efficiency gains, control improvements, and cost reductions in Treasury management processes.Identify and recommend necessary frameworks and procedures and support corporate SOX compliance initiativesTrain and develop Treasury Shared Services teamOther tasks and responsibilities assigned by Global TreasurerContributes to business progress through functional expertiseQualificationsThe following arerequiredfor the roleBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldSeveral years of experience in Treasury and/or Finance related positionsExcellent communication skillsExperience working in a Global companyERP and TMS knowledge and experienceGood interpersonal and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environmentExcellent English skills, both written and verbalPreferred QualificationsGerman language skillsExperience with SAPExperience with FIS/ IntegrityWhat We OfferAt Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
