Our value proposition "Energy For More" is the guideline for over 2,400 employees who are supporting our customers through an increasingly complex energy world with excellent engineering expertise, outstanding regulatory competence, proven speed of action and comprehensive sustainability expertise.Your future tasksYou ensure Operational Excellence by taking ownership of day-to-day Back Office activities — from trade validation to settlement, confirmations, and regulatory reporting.In addition, you lead Initiatives & Build Structures by developing processes, integrating systems (e.g. ETRM & ERP integration), and establishing governance as well as owning sub-projects and driving continuous improvement.We rely on your expertise, when it comes to validating and processing trades across exchanges and OTC markets (power, gas, CO₂, etc.).You reconcile deals in the ETRM system Coral and manage financial and physical settlements; support invoice validation and ERP workflows.Handling margin and collateral requirements; liaise with clearing banks and brokers is part of your job.You oversee deal confirmations with exchanges, brokers, and counterparties.You prepare and submit reports under e.g. REMIT, EMIR, MiFID II and maintain full audit traceability.Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements is one of your responsibilities.You support data integrity across ETRM and ERP and you ensure consistency of trade and master data.Furthermore, you drive Back Office-related projects (e.g., process design, system integration, enhancements).Support testing, user acceptance, and roll-out of new features and interfaces is one of your tasks.Collaborating with Front Office, Risk, IT, and Finance to design efficient, scalable workflows rounds off your area of responsibility.YOU AS A PERSON3+ years of experience in Back Office / Operations roles within energy trading or asset-backed utilitiesDeep knowledge of energy trading workflows and post-trade processesHands-on experience with ETRM systems (preferably Coral, Allegro, or comparable platforms)Experience in settlement, trade validation, confirmations, and regulatory reporting (e.g. REMIT)Familiarity with ERP processes (e.g., AP/AR integration)Bonus: Exposure to topics such as mark-to-market, valuation of trades and portfolios, or basic market and credit riskBonus: Experience with Power BI for reporting and process visibilityFluent in English; German is a plusStructured, reliable, and pragmatic — able to operate in both operational and project contextsWE OFFER MOREWith us, you have the opportunity to actively shape the energy transition.From day one, you are part of the team and have the chance to take on responsibility.We enable you to achieve a good work-life balance through flexible working hours with flexitime and 30 days of holiday a year.We offer our employees the Jobrad concept: keep fit 365 days a year and also protect the environment.You can look forward to using numerous fitness and wellness offers with a membership through our cooperation partner Hansefit.Do you want to develop yourself further?
