As a Product Care Application Engineer, you focus on the technical support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing battery system products. You act as a key interface between engineering, production, service, and customers to ensure product stability, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain documentation including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials (in collaboration with Systems, PM, and Marketing)
* Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in customer environments (2nd-level support)
* Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide structured feedback to engineering and quality teams
* Ensure proper reporting of activities and customer feedback to engineering and sales
* Ensure strict adherence to procedures during installation and/or modification of equipment
* Provide technical consultancy for existing products (e.g., claims, production issues, field failures)
* Perform hands-on work to address technical claims and support production-related problem-solving
* Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives for released products
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, quality, service) to ensure product reliability and compliance
Requirements
* Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
* Strong technical understanding of battery systems and their applications
* Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product support
* Hands-on mentality and structured problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills and customer orientation
* Willingness to work cross-functionally and occasionally travel to customer or production sites
