Your prospective job:
For our international client in the aviation and space programs industry, we are looking for you as an IT Specialist (m/f/d) Application Developer in Bremen. You will be supporting the team developing critical engineering applications.
Your responsibilities:
6. Ownership for existing and new engineering applications (versions, codebases, database and systems security)
7. Bridging the gap between infrastructure and software
8. Developing software solutions from external developers to various environments (e.g., test, staging, production)
9. Being a part of internal and external IT projects (quality ensurance, verification, implementation of new features)
10. Software testing and bug fixes as well as identifying opportunities, utilizing tools (f.e. Selenium)
11. Code Review (JavaScript, C#), troubleshooting, and testing changes implemented by external development partners
Your profile:
12. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
13. Professional experience in IT operations, application support or comparable qualifications
14. Technical Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux Server, and SQL Server administration
15. Experience with version control systems, i.e. GitLab
16. Experience building SQL based reports (i.e., SSRS,Power BI)
17. Scripting abilities, particularly with PowerShell
18. Experience with application troubleshooting, coding and debugging (SQL, JavaScript, C#, JSON) is a plus
19. Familiarity with the .NET / C# technology stack is beneficial
20. Basic knowledge of ITIL frameworks, ITIL certification is a plus
21. Know-How of infrastructure concepts and system architectures is preferred
22. Very good language skills in English, good skills in German, spoken and written
