Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):
* Foreign language secretary or equivalent commercial training or equivalent qualifications
* Background in natural sciences or in the field of clinical trials is an advantage
* Very good English and German skills
* Good knowledge of computer systems
* Team player
Key Responsibilities:
* Receipt and registration of sample material for clinical trials and reference testing
* Processing of data queries
* Monitoring and follow-up of workflows for samples within clinical trials and other respective projects
o Ordering of required tests in TALIMS-1
o Tracking of enrollment and consent information
* Evaluation assistance
o Preparation and follow-up of evaluations
o Result documentation of pathological evaluations
o Plausibility checks and preparations for re-evaluations
o Organization of the stained slides before archiving
* Result transmission
* Management of contact lists
* Database entries and updates
o Patient and sample data
o Results
* Preparation of sample shipments
* Communication with the study teams and sites
* Co-operation with the Project Management and other departments within the Tissue Biomarker Services division
