Head of IT (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
1. Lead and develop the IT team.
2. Define and implement the IT strategy aligned with company goals.
3. Oversee support across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, VPN, and Windows/Linux server environments.
4. Ensure stable and secure operation of all IT systems and endpoints.
5. Maintain and improve server infrastructure, storage, and virtualization platforms (Proxmox).
6. Operate hybrid environments using Active Directory and Azure.
7. Manage Layer 2/3 networking, VPNs, and firewalls.
8. Strengthen cybersecurity and incident response processes.
9. Implement and maintain NIS2-aligned policies and controls.
10. Drive digitalization of enterprise systems (PLM, ERP, and related platforms).
11. Support integration and automation across engineering and production.
12. Deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
13. Manage IT procurement, assets, and inventory.
14. Regular travel to the UK is mandatory.
Your Qualifications
15. A Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
16. 5+ years of IT operations or systems administration experience.
17. Proven leadership or team management experience.
18. Strong knowledge of:
Active Directory (on-prem & hybrid)
Azure identity & cloud services
2/3 networking & VPNs
Proxmox or similar virtualization platforms
19. Experience with NIS2 compliance.
20. Experience with digitalization projects (PLM/ERP preferred).
21. Fluent in English; structured and independent working style.
22. Motivated to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
