Business Development Manager - Charging Solutions
iO Associates is partnered with a leading provider of innovative solutions for the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging industry, who is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our client's business in the electric vehicle charging systems market.
Requirements:
* At least 5-7 years of technical sales experience with Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions or Battery Energy Storage solutions
* Fluency in both English and German
* Excellent understanding of the sales, business development, and account management processes
* Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions, Power Conditioning Systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems
* Ability to build strong customer relationships
* Strong legal understanding of contracts and the ability to negotiate
Responsibilities:
* Analyse the development and understand the nature of the Electric Vehicle Charging Systems market ecosystem
* Construct, in accordance with your analysis, business development strategies and sales plans
* Identify and report business opportunities in the targeted segments: EV OEM, Utility, Charging Point Operator
* Develop strong relationships with key customers by acting as an account manager
* Coordinate and manage technical and commercial bid preparation
* Negotiate contracts and ensure legal compliance
* Manage pipeline projects and ensure their successful execution
* Achieve sales targets and revenue as defined by the business leadership
* Represent our client during conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events in Germany
* Interact with management across our client's organization
