Warehouse Operations Manager
The role of a Warehouse Operations Manager is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of a warehouse. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the operational team, overseeing warehouse operations, health and safety, and quality control.
The key responsibilities include:
* Managing daily objectives and monitoring customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Developing and implementing strategies for customized solutions based on customer needs
* Ensuring a seamless handover of tasks and optimizing communication between teams
* Providing regular updates in the Warehouse Management system
* Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance organizational capability
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A minimum of 7 years' experience in contract logistics, preferably in a customer-facing position
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing and leading a warehouse operations team
* Solid understanding of Lean thinking and continuous improvement principles
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
* A strong personality with a passion for operational excellence and people development
* Fluency in German and excellent written and verbal English skills
