Urban Planner
Current job offer:
* Development and processing of urban development fundamentals at the regional planning level, as well as preparatory and binding building plans with topics such as housing, commerce, public infrastructure, and retail.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the position of Urban Planner in full-time employment. The tasks include:
* Development and processing of urban development concepts, framework plans, and competitions
* Project development and implementation of complex urban development single measures
* Coordination and steering of various involved specialist disciplines within and outside the department of urban development and city planning
* Representation of planning in municipal councils as well as citizen participation
* Building advice to citizens, investors, and entrepreneurs
* Preparation of planning-related assessments of building projects
Expected qualifications:
* Completed studies in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or a related field with a focus on urban development or regional planning
* Several years of professional experience in urban development or a related field with proven practice in dealing with legal frameworks in Germany
* German language skills at C2 level according to the European Framework of Reference for Non-Native Speakers
