Job Title: Material Planning Lead
As a Material Planning Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic planning and tactical execution of material flows. You will oversee global material planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to ensure seamless production, distribution, and material performance.
* You will drive the development and implementation of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) strategies to align with business objectives.
* You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across functions and regions to ensure transparency in material planning and alignment of material availability with sales demand.
* You will be responsible for managing global material assets, including inventories, rental assets, investments, and goods in transit.
* You will source finished goods from internal production plants and external partners, ensuring material availability for all subsidiaries and proactively managing escalations in case of imbalances.
* You will translate strategic planning into concrete long-term material requirements for our production and supply network.
* You will lead cross-functional alignment and communicate relevant availability updates to markets and sales organizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field.
* Long-standing professional experience in a leadership role within SCM, Sales & Operations Planning environment.
* Excellent knowledge in sales, operational planning, and supplier management.
* Solid understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and align diverse stakeholder groups.
* Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
