Director of Talent Operations @ MVP Match
Our client is a German company at the forefront of large-scale battery storage and grid flexibility solutions. Their digital team drives innovation across the business, building secure and scalable platforms that enable data-driven decision-making and the integration of renewable energy into the grid. To strengthen this team, we are looking for a Data Platform Solution Architect to design and implement a central data platform that will serve as the foundation for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build a robust, scalable data platform enabling business units to access, analyze, and act on critical data.
* Develop data models and structures that unify diverse data sources, ensuring quality, performance, and reusability.
* Define and implement security, backup, and recovery concepts to ensure stability and compliance.
* Lead data migrations, integrations, and orchestration across heterogeneous systems.
* Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into dashboards, access concepts, and usable structures.
* Document solutions, support training, and foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
* Act as both architect and hands-on engineer, combining design with implementation.
Profile
* Degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar field.
* 3+ years’ experience building data platforms and data models with measurable business impact.
* Strong background in data modeling and working with time series/tabular data.
* Experience in agile environments with iterative development (e.g. SCRUM).
* Strong communication skills in German and English; able to translate technical topics for diverse stakeholders.
* Service-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-driven with attention to documentation and long-term usability.
* On-site availability in the Munich office 2 days/week.
