The following challenges await you:
1. In your role, you will lead a team of three professionals and be responsible for driving decisions and strategies, processes, analytics, digitalization efforts, training and sustainability within the Heraeus Group's global procurement organization.
2. You will play a key role in identifying the digitalization potential in existing procurement processes, especially regarding use cases for artificial intelligence.
3. Furthermore, you will be responsible for establishing a sustainability framework for the procurement organizations of the Heraeus Group.
4. As a project management expert, you will lead global procurement projects and ensure their successful implementation.
5. You will be instrumental in implementing and ensuring the requirements of upcoming international regulations in close cooperation with the Procurement peers in our Operating Companies.
Your Profile:
6. University degree (diploma/master) in Business Administration or Engineering, or similar
7. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in purchasing, finance, consulting or project management, ideally with leadership experience in an international context
8. Cutting-edge knowledge and experiences in projects, processes, tools and systems related to Procurement, Excellence and Digitalization Projects
9. International (working) background is highly welcomed
10. High persuasiveness and negotiation skills combined with a winning and enthusiastic personality promoting collaborative work
11. Fluent in English both written and spoken, German is a plus but not required
