We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to play a key role in driving the automation and modernisation of our hybrid IT infrastructure within the Distributed Systems Group (DSG).
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions across hybrid environments
* Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell
* Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability
* Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, platform, application, and security teams
* Contribute to automation standards, documentation, and governance
Requirements
* Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
* Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
* Solid understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, VMware)
* Experience working in DevOps or agile environments
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Desirable
* Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
* Relevant certifications (Terraform, Azure, AWS)
