ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a hands-on Digital PR Freelancer who can combine creative storytelling with a deep understanding of SEO and the German media landscape.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with NP Digital’s growing team in Germany—working with international clients, executing high-impact outreach campaigns, and collaborating with colleagues across EMEA. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of DPR campaigns, ensuring high-quality link acquisition and contributing to the growth of the German market through performance excellence and earned media success.
This is a remote, project-based role with potential for long-term collaboration based on performance and campaign needs.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
DPR Strategy & Execution: Develop and deliver creative, data-led Digital PR campaigns designed to earn high-authority backlinks and drive measurable SEO performance Media Outreach: Build relationships with, and act as the primary contact for German journalists, editors, and writers to secure top-tier placements Ideation & Content: Brainstorm and execute link-worthy campaign ideas, such as surveys and expert commentary, that resonate with German newsrooms Collaboration: Partner with SEO, Content, and Analytics teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies Quality Control: Oversee all outreach communications for accuracy, impact, and brand alignment with global standards Innovation: Stay ahead of PR trends and AI-driven outreach tools to improve link-earning strategies Reporting & Insights: Analyse campaign data (links earned, open rates, referral traffic) and present results with clear strategic recommendations
ABOUT YOU
3–5 Years of Digital PR or Earned Media experience within a digital agency environment Proven track record of planning and implementing successful DPR campaigns that result in high-authority links Strong media relations skills – a pre-existing network of contacts within German national, regional, and trade media is a significant advantage Full Campaign Lifecycle Experience: From data gathering and asset creation to pitching and reporting Tool Proficiency: Solid understanding of tools such as Ahrefs, Sistrix, BuzzStream, Muck Rack, Prowly, and Google Analytics Fluent in German and English (written and verbal) with exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills Mindset: Analytical, commercially aware, and proactive while working in a fast-paced, remote environment
