Your Role
The Research Coordinator will be part of our team responsible for supporting and coordinating research activities. This includes:
* Providing portfolio/project management and research administration support to principal investigators and research staff.
* Assisting in the identification, acquisition, and management of research grants from different national, European, and international funding agencies and programs.
* Monitoring the entire grant life cycle from proposal writing to project execution, reporting, and closure.
* Ensuring quality assurance and compliance of projects and grants with requirements from internal and/or external stakeholders.
* Advising and contributing to financial and human resources allocation.
* Being an interface towards funding agencies in particular for reporting and cost claims.
* Ensuring internal communication and cooperation with other faculties and the University administration regarding all research-related questions.
* Tracking, documenting, and reporting research-related information and data to internal and/or external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A Master's degree or equivalent experience in an area relevant to grant and project management.
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role and preferably in externally funded projects.
* Proven experience in writing grant proposals and grant management.
* Good knowledge of funding programs.
* Project management skills and knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
* Fluent English language skills. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
* Service-oriented and problem-solving attitude.
* Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines as well as the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Team player used to working in a high-expectation environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a multicultural environment.
