Our IoT group is building a team of systems thinkers passionate about IoT and solving socio-technical challenges. We leverage knowledge and expertise to design and scale enterprise IoT solutions. IF YOU ARE
* Interested in IoT and experienced with relevant technologies such as MQTT brokers, embedded programming, distributed systems, microservices architecture, infrastructure automation, edge processing, fleet observability, or wireless communications.
* Proficient in managing software and hardware lifecycles.
* Strong in object-oriented software development.
* Confident in leading or mentoring a technical team.
* Experienced in recognizing architectural patterns and solutions.
* Understanding tradeoffs between IoT offerings from cloud and other vendors.
* Certified with SEI Software Architecture and ATAF.
* Having publications in IoT cloud or device fields, formal or informal.
* Knowledgeable of Linux OS for ARM and x86, and hypervisors.
* Proficient with hardware root of trust and PKI.
* Hands-on with network theory and wireless communications.
* Competent in infrastructure automation tools.
* Certified as a professional from at least one cloud provider.
* Excellent in communication skills, fluent in German and English.

* Address system quality attributes like performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
* Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality solutions.
* Define architectural strategies, standards, and tools.
* Estimate solutions and construct roadmaps.
* Assess existing architectures using Attribute-Driven Design.
* Advise development teams on standards adherence.
* Convey technical ideas clearly to teams.
