Overview
Join Capgemini as a Frontend Software Architect (w/m/d). This role is based in Cologne, Germany, and can be full-time or part-time. You will be part of the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team, guiding customers through digital transformation with innovative, agile, and future-oriented solutions. You will work in international project teams with opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
* You design and develop modern frontend solutions in close alignment with customers, with a strong focus on user experience and accessibility.
* Choose suitable frameworks, libraries, interaction models with servers, layouts and caching to deliver performant and responsive user interfaces.
* Contribute technical expertise to presales activities, including presentations and proposal preparation.
* Take on central roles in software development and IT consulting projects and actively shape the technical implementation.
* Share knowledge through coaching on architecture concepts, software development, and tool usage.
Qualifications
* Completed studies in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification with several years of hands-on architectural experience.
* Strong knowledge of architecture models such as Headless, Composable, MACH, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and a good sense for modern digital touchpoints.
* Experience integrating and adapting AI solutions into frontend architectures.
* Strong communication, structured work style, and teamwork; very good German and English language skills for international project teams.
* For security-relevant projects, a security review may be required according to the guidelines for safeguarding confidentiality and sabotage protection.
